Software
I develop and maintain open-source tools for Monte Carlo event generation and particle-physics data analysis, and contribute to community infrastructure that this software relies on:
- Code contributor to LHAPDF, the standard library for accessing parton distribution functions at the LHC.
- Contributor to HepMC, the common event-record format shared by Monte Carlo generators, and to Rivet and YODA, used for analysis and histogramming of generated events.
- Gentoo Linux developer, maintaining scientific
packages in the
gentoo-scioverlay. - Active in the Scikit-HEP ecosystem, primarily
through
pylhe.
Projects
-
LHEUTILS
Command-line utilities for filtering, converting and processing Les Houches Event (LHE) files and Monte Carlo event samples.
-
STRAP
Statistics TRAcking Protocol — a small, Unix-style text protocol for accumulating per-event statistics during scientific simulations, with a Rust-based GUI for visualizing the resulting data.
-
pylhe
Lightweight, pure-Python library for reading and writing Les Houches Event (LHE) files, the standard Monte Carlo event format in high-energy physics. Part of the Scikit-HEP ecosystem.
